Our School

Our school is located in the heart of the historic part of Almería. Our aim is to help our pupils master the Spanish language, culture and traditions.

The City

Almería, located on the Southeast coast of Spain, surrounded by the calm and warm Mediterranean, is a crucible of cultures that offers the student and to those who visit it, beach, sports, culture, and night life.

Courses

Language Level The maximum number of students per group is 9, the minimum is 4. The first day in the school a level test is made in order to locate the student in a group according to his / her knowledge.

Spanish Cooking Course
A minimum of 2 wks and 3 students. They take place in the school’s workshop; all the ingredients required are included. Teachers accompany the students to the market to buy the food. Course price: 3 lessons per week for 2 weeks: 168€   4 weeks 330€
Dance Lessons
A minimum of 2 weeks and 3 students. They take place in the dancing room in the school . Students can choose the style of music they want to learn to dance: * Spanish dancing (flamenco, sevillana) * Salsa * Classic dancing Course price: 3 lessons a week for 2 weeks 102€ 4 weeks 200€
Painting Course
A minimum of 2 weeks and 3 students. Different painting techniques are taught by professional painters. Lessons are held in the painters workshop, 5 minutes away from the school. All painting materials are included. Course price: 3 lessons a week for 2 weeks: 180€ 4 weeks 350€
Classic Guitar lessons
A minimum of 2 weeks and 3 students. They take place in the school. Students are taught to play the guitar by professional guitarists. Course price: 3 lessons a week for 2 weeks: 180€ 4 weeks 350€
Andalusian Handicrafts
A minimum of 2 weeks and 3 students. They take place in the school’s workshop. Students will learn how to decorate silk handkerchiefs, “abanicos” (typical Andalusian fans) and different decorative items. The teacher is an artist who is a handicraft teacher and exhibits her work in art exhibitions. All materials are included. Course price: 3 lessons a week for 2 weeks: 138€ 4 weeks 270€
Work Experience - Internship
It requires a minimum intensive course of 2 weeks. There is a registration fee of 400 € that covers finding the Internship placement and support service of bilingual coordinator during the internship.

Courses for Groups and School Trips We adapt the language contents to the needs of the group. Being a course that it is tailored for an specific group, the number of lessons as well as the number of students per group can vary. The groups have normally a minimum of 6 students or a maximum of 14, though exceptions can be made. The price of the course includes: * Information package upon arrival. * 20 weekly lessons of Spanish language and culture (the number of lessons can vary depending on the group needs and budget) * Full board accommodation in host family or youth hostel * Extra activities(social, sport and culture activities) * Use of the school material * Internet * Certificate at the end of the course The price of the course does not include: * Airport transfer ( can be booked separately ) * Special activities ( prices will be given to the students) During the stay in Almeria, the school offers the possibility of linguistic exchanges with Spanish students.
